The Accounting Technician Intern will support the NMS Accounting and Finance team with general accounting responsibilities. This position is a support services position whose work routine is established and follows a set of procedures. Interns will perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedure and standards required for participation in the accounting and financial reporting cycle of NMS. May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide growth in accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting. It generally functions under close supervisory direction or guidance of an Accounting Supervisor

Weather: Indoors - environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.
Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
