This position carries out those activities required to maintain and correct damage and make repairs to physical buildings, structures, and facilities as well maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and cleaning equipment of assigned facilities. Additionally, this person will do a variety of work involving equipment use such as scissor lifts and necessitate regularly working from ladders, and may also be responsible for some minor electrical repair work.
**This position will support the ACS facility headquartered in Anchorage, AK. Roving duties to support other Alaska ACS facilities and may be required. Works tools, company work vehicle, and airfare to other worksites provided.**

Weather: Indoor/Outdoor – occasional exposure to harsh weather conditions; requires work to be done both inside and outside.

Description of environment: Office building with standard office environment.
Physical requirements: Employee is required to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
Travel: Employee may travel up to 50% of the time throughout Alaska and/or remote locations and may be required to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes and ATVs.
