Job Description

This four-week internship provides an opportunity for high school students to gain real-world work experience in NANA’s office.  Start date: June 16, 2025. Interviews will take place as applications are received.  This internship will last 4-weeks and interns must be able to commit to the entire internship, 2 High School Interns being hired for each village.

 

Responsibilities

  • This position will provide administrative support to the Shareholder Relations Coordinator and work on special projects as assigned. 
  • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be a NANA shareholder.  NANA shareholders own stock in NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.
  • Minimum age 14.
  • Must be entering the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2025 or a 2025 high school graduate to qualify.
  • Must provide a complete application and resume when submitting the application.
  • Must provide 1 letter of recommendation when submitting the application.
  • Must be able to commit to entire work assignment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (outlook, word and excel).
  • Willingness to learn.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Weather: Indoors - environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.

Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.

Description of environment: Office building with standard office environment.

Physical requirements:  Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

The position requires reading, detailed work, problem solving, interactions with other companies including other NANA companies, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, will require the employee in the position to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and handle constant interruptions.
